And while the BUD-FRA flight was mostly on-time, it commonly had a remote stand parking position, which adds a few more variables where LH/Fraport could mess up (= furhter delays): No stairs available, no bus available, long bus ride, higher chance that your checked luggage does not make it ... If you would transfer to a LH longhaul flight, there might be a direct transfer in case of a tight connection when multiple pax on your flight are affected. But with a transfer to SQ, I am not sure, if you are high enough on LH's priority list ...
