No menu on either of our LGW to FUE and return recently. The crew could not have been more different on each leg. I’m considering a complaint for the outbound where the first drink did not arrive until well after one hour. The IFM decided to assume that we’d all want tea or coffee with our breakfast which I’ve never seen as a very common choice on such an obvious leisure route. They then proceeded to keep forgetting our requests and ran out of champagne after I’d had one glass. They then closed the bar an hour prior to landing so it was water from there on in!
The return crew were the complete opposite. Attentive and efficient. I turned down top ups which is by far the better outcome.
At least Lord Flies gluten free was loaded on both flights and contained some protein this time. No lactose however which is common. He tells me there is a crossover between coeliacs and lactose intolerance. Not in his case and I doubt that’s why BA combine the two.
