I have a mathematics issue with them too: had to cancel award ticket for which I paid miles + 277,12 EUR in taxes. Taxes were paid in EUR not other currency. I paid the $70 cancellation fee, and then they returned 259,33 EUR saying this is my full refund of taxes. Feedback is not helping + I need to write as the passanger without FF status and not in my name (since the award was done for my companion). Tragic handeling by TK. In the 3rd attempt via feedback form, TK issued the passanger (who didn’t pay) a travel voucher in which it is stated that it is redemable for cash at any TK sales office. Just that TK sales office says they cannot handle refunds at all. I wouldn’t bother with the money too much, but this time is the matter of principle.
