But yes I agree it would be clearer if they just returned to including the fare bucket as part of the itinerary display, particularly for those wishing to credit to another FF programme.
It used to be shown already at the flight selection, not so anymore. Qantas has been doing this for years, and more and more airlines join the principle.
I should find a country with a decent consumer protection agency, and launch a complaint that airlines are not disclosing the full pricing by withholding the specific booking class. Frequent Flyer points is an important part of their business model and they are obfuscating it towards the consumer. Not sure I have the energy to do that though.
