I would not trust that reply from FB too much. CS employees likely do not have any idea about what's going on, and chances are that FB also needs a few days to update itself to the status quo. Only when there is an actual press release, or perhaps post from Ben Lipsey on here, we would know what actually is going to happen. Until then, especially with AZ not auto-crediting in FB, I'd not rely too much on getting those XPs credited.

Unfortunately I must say that this happened a lot faster than anyone expected. I did expect that LH would try to take over asap, set up partnerships with ITA - possibly trying to reduce/remove existing ones (ie by messing around with earning rates), but for them to exit Skyteam this quickly I definitely did not expect. Glad I did not purchase that ITA ticket that I was eying last week. Even if it was on an A321 with lie-flat seats on a 2 hr flight to Rome
