Slightly correct and incorrect.
2610 is identical in every single absolute aspect except for the following:
- 2620 has a HDD with all the maps built-in for the countries in question
- 2620 does NOT come with any software or cables due to point 1
- Both units have remotes, bean bag mounts, stickers, chargers, WAAS
The newer models aren't necessarily a replacement, but have the following new features:
- Built-in 1 hour LI-ION battery
- Windsheet suction mount (no bean bag)
- No remote
I went through the entire research process myself about 6-8 months ago and purchased the 2610. You can buy 1GB CFCard pretty cheaply from CostCo nowadays. Sold my unit a few months back since I got a car with a Nav built-in though.
