Booked One Double Standard Room, received same. This hotel has only two room categories, Double and Twin. So, you must not expect any room upgrade.

How are the rooms?
12 sqm. No view, window glass is frosted and for lighting purposes only. Soooooooooooo Tiny and cramped. Can’t open large sized suitcases on the floor. Japanese budget hotel standard indeed. On 16 January 2025, three Garner Hotels opened in this Osaka Honmachi district. 2 hotels (Midosuji and Kita Semba) are all 12 sqm rooms with 1 double bed or 2 single beds. Only Honmachi Station has 15 sqm rooms and queen bed rooms.

Good
With bathtub bathroom, unit bath though.

Bad
Upon check-in, front clerk told me that this hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, and showed the brochure hotel sells the bento box for 1500JPY. Strange, this hotel brand should offer the free breakfast, isn’t it? I confirmed that the Diamond members have free breakfast, the front clerk told me that they can offer the bento box for free. I felt that the hotel staff didn't understand the brand standard yet.

Small and no android TV (without any entertainment application like Netflix or Amazon Prime)

Value for $ or One Rewards Points? Would you return?
No. Not sure to return. This hotel doesn’t have the value of over JPY10000. If the nightly rate is less than JPY7000, it would be acceptable. From my point of view, this brand is for excuses of recent price increases of Holiday Inn Express.
