Been trying to book Syd-Lhr. 8 feb shows several Etihad redemptions options in business but for several days have been phantom availability.
can anyone shed any light on why AA don’t fix this??? It’s a major issue and such a timewaster.
Thinking about it this problem has meant I have not been able to use my AA miles for years as this problem has existed for a long time.
I spoke to call centre and they showed lots of other availability that they also could not book.
one other thread suggested a profile address problem fixed their similar issue. So I made a minor amendment to my address but no luck

Ugh.. This issue appears to be unique to you. As much as I've seem lots of phantom availability, this one seems legit. I was able to go all the way to the Pay/Hold page (just to try out) without any problems.
Strange even the call center can't book it for you.
