Same thing happened to my wife. I was a little annoyed. She had a flight this morning. As a result of my MQM roll overs, I am Diamond for the next 3 years. One of my choice benefits is to always make her Gold. Well, due to the glitch with the MQM role over benefits, her gold expired on 2/1 and I wasn't able to re gift her until yesterday when it was processed in the system. In the meantime she was downgraded from comfort to coach and wasn't able to re-up on the upgrade. Hopefully she will be able to on her return on Thursday. The timing sucked and was unique, but it was less than optimal.

First world problem, but it was annoying.
