Are SWU's even worth it anymore? Upgrades are impossible so what's the point. I can never use them and they expire which is especially frustrating. I have MIA-LHR on Thursday waitlisted but in the meantime the app is glad to sell me an upgrade (for $1700). I made exec plat again for 2025 but I think I may be done with chasing status as I can't seem to use the benefits any more. Frustrating.
AA continues to alienate/piss off their finest customers. The program is lowest than it's ever been. I didn't even open my requal "package" envelope when I got it last year I just tossed it. They'll probably clear you when the boarding door is about to close.
