Had a GV80 last week. (In SAT. There were 2 Base AWD siblings, titled to EHI in Texas, on ES. Mine was delivered in late Nov., IIRC, and has accumulated 8k mi.)

I would agree with the above commentary. It's just ok. I was annoyed with the things others were annoyed with.* The price isn't bad, but it's not as 'nice' as they appear to want it to be. Given my choices between this or a Q5/Q7 or an X5, I'd choose the German marques almost every time. (It would depend on the driving I was going to do. I did like the GV80's driving assistance features. The darn thing nearly drove itself. (Until TXDOT decided that lane markings were for sissies. /shrug))

And, I'm not going to reactivate the other thread, but I would not be repulsed if I got this for a Luxury (ETA: Whoops! Premium) reservation. While I have my opinions on what is better and why and when, it suits that purpose, IMO.

*My biggest nits: No wireless CarPlay (I'll never understand why (and this isn't the first time) they put a wireless charger but no CarPlay in.), no heated steering wheel, and completely non-intuitive controls, whether on the steering wheel or on the infotainment.
