StR is attached to the Silom line, so yes, it's considerably more convenient to that line. It's kind of a hassle if you want to get to the Sukhumvit line though, since you have to change at Siam, which can be a pain.

W/A is a slightly closer to Suhumvit line, but there are many properties closer.
