This literally just happened to me again right now. I placed a $20 order for a couple of items at Rite aid (min for free delivery). The shopper couldn't find 2 of the items so refunded and canceled the whole order. I'm not even going to bother reaching out to DD as I know it will be a waste is time; I can kiss my $10 discount that I used on that order goodbye.
FYI, it said there was plenty of stock of 1 of the items so not sure what happened there.
I've had Dashmart items cancelled a few times. Their inventory monitoring is terrible. And DoorDash refused to do anything about it because it was a "promotion". That's the underlying problem - Chase gives you a "promo code" not an actual credit. I pointed this out to Chase, but they just ignored me.
Another problem I had last month is that two of the items were expired (by weeks). Once again, Doordash told me "tough luck". Maybe I'll try taking the items back to the Dashmart store.
If I didn't have these monthly promo codes, I would definitely never again even consider using Dashmart.
