Of the 4 Marriott branded San Diego hotels that include breakfast, which one would:
a. have the nicest breakfast (i.e. not all carby icky sausage on a bun that you nuke to warm up, but some real food)
b. be the nicest accommodation (location safety and convenience for exploring SD [no car but like walking] and decent rooms)
1. Towne Place
2. Springhill Suites
3. Fairfield Inn
4. Residence Inn
5. Did I miss any?
Or... any options without Br included that are gems I should consider? Tempted by Alma if it indeed has bikes and a glass of wine and $35 F&B voucher incl for the $35 resort fee.
2 nights pre cruise mid December. I've explored SD quite a few times so this is a laid back explore + lowering risk of missing cruise if our flight is delayed a day or 2. Thanks! I'm Lifetime Silver Elite so no breakfast Elite perks - yet. I have enough points to pay whatever the points amount is within reason. The Guild is a "good value" at 96,000 for the 2 nights, but eek those rooms look small! Thanks for wisdom & experience.
