For me, the flight in question was HNL-LAX. Business class (J), QR Gold, one way on AA (booked through QR on a ticket onward to DOH). The Q-calculator shows that I should receive 45 Qpoints for this AA flight (had it been on QR, it would have been 96). I received 30. Those extra points would have bumped me back up to Platinum.

I've been told many different things by QR, including:

1. That there are actually 5 different earning charts depending on marketing/operating airline (see my post above).
2. That it's an issue because it's a codeshare.
3. That the values listed for partner airlines on MyCalculator are simply estimates and not exact amounts.
4. That this is a known issue that lots have complained about & there was going to be a big OneWorld meeting about it the following week (that was according to one agent I spoke to last month).
