Sure for some it would, but depending on travel patterns and how you use things, you might not even notice any major differences.
I would just worry about whether things get removed / chipped away at once you spend extra cash with little or no notice.
BA Holidays could be interesting earning wise.
Being able to pay over a few months to a year rather than upfront might be far more palatable to some when aiming for a £7.5k+ spend.
Actually this is very true. Because of Covid restrictions I couldn't travel for 2 years and was in the initial cull of Golds after the extensions.. Silver was fine for the 6 months until I was back at Gold just due to my normal travel with BA. But will they remove benefits from Silver as that is where the "undesirable Golds" that stay with BA will end up.
