To be honest, I'm silver at present (until last week's TPs post), and there's not a massive difference.
Sure i don't get a few things, but (most) seat selection when I book, fast track, some lounges including AA Flagships etc. isn't too much of a step down.
Sure for some it would, but depending on travel patterns and how you use things, you might not even notice any major differences.


I would just worry about whether things get removed / chipped away at once you spend extra cash with little or no notice.

BA Holidays could be interesting earning wise.
Being able to pay over a few months to a year rather than upfront might be far more palatable to some when aiming for a £7.5k+ spend.
