Hi all: Taking a staycation here in Singapore, dead-set on Raffles (on Beach Road). The Raffles own website does a good job of showing which dates are most economical. With Amex Plat, I visited the Amex Travel webpage and saw that they offer a room upgrade. Then scouted a bit on the Tripadvisor website, where some people shared they got upgraded to specialty suites on FHR... but those specific posts are a decade old.
Anybody here been upgraded recently to great suites while booking Raffles with FHR? Any other comments on suite upgrades to other luxury Singapore hotels with FHR welcomed...!
The FHR benefit is an upgrade upon availability and not a guaranteed upgrade. You can’t guarantee an upgrade with FHR and there’s honestly no way you will know from now whether you’ll be upgraded or not.
Honestly at a place like Raffles, FHR booking is not going to be at the top of their priority list. There will be other programs which will be prioritised over FHR such as Accor Hera, Virtuoso and Accor top tiers.
If you’re keen on the signature suites then you’d have to book that
