I can confirm that I just did this on a business booking and the difference for access to more luggage, more points (for what they are worth) and a the airport transfer in AUH with the chauffeur made it worth it, I do not think i paid more than $100 extra.
Call the customer line and quote your EY Guest Numbers to make putting things togethre or do the above and use a saved temporary PNR
