Like lots of BA Gold members I'm looking at trying to keep OW Emerald via QR due to the exec club changes. I actually just took a QR codeshare, booked with BA before all this started, to DXB. I switched to my QR FF number at check in and all segments have been credited but with a lot less tier points than expected. Assuming this is because the flight was booked via BA? Where does QR say what tier points to expect for partner bookings?

Also what is the best way to keep using my BA Gold benefits whilst travelling with them but trying to build status with QR? Is it switching the FF number from BA to QR after check in? I could imagine this causing issues with access to partner lounges, e.g. Cathay or Qantas which I use when flying BA or AY from LHR T3.
