Recently wrapped up a multi-night stay here. Room wasn't ready when I arrived around 11:30 am, but I was allowed to wait in the lounge. Room became available around 1 pm. Booked a City Side room, and ended up with a Grand Executive City Side room, which I don't know if it's really an upgrade, but it was on a higher floor. View was nothing to speak of, but no outside noise issues that I recall.
Was able to take breakfast at the restaurant as a welcome amenity. Even when crowded, the service there was very good.
No regrets choosing this place instead of the Hyatt Regency. I like the location here a lot more with the proximity to the park/botanic garden and quicker airport access using the train.

2) club lounge overall offerings remain great. Ambiance, food and service all excellent. Only issue is the place is overrun With elites at night that it's hard to get seats sometimes. But the cl remains a jewel and I often just had dinner here
Just seeing this now, but I missed the avocado and berries. Maybe they weren't offered during my stay, or I just missed them (it's a rather spacious buffet layout).
On the evenings I visited the lounge, I got there around 10-15 min before 5 pm. By 5 pm, it was completely full with people hovering around looking for a table, and a fairly constant 10-15 person buffet line for at least the first 30 minutes. I saw people even using the front desk that the attendant sits at by the entrance. Offerings at the lounge were very good for lounge standards though.
