Hi!

I am fairly new to the TransCon flights with Delta between JFK and SFO

So far I mainly used DL short distance out of JFK/ LGA and over the years, I learnt which flights I am most likely getting updated to FC and for which ones it is highly unlikely.

But no idea on domestic D1 flights.

On a mid weekday early afternoon flight JFK --> SFO as DL Plat - is there a realistic chance or highly unlikely? Delta scheduled a B767 with 36 D1 seats.
Cash Upgrade/ rebooking is a lot (over 1000 USD) at this point.
I just requested my RUCs - with several JFK <-> SFO flight ahead, they become actually useful.
