While anything is possible, I would be surprised if QR fees were higher than what BA charges. And if you can travel on July 3 or 5, QR might even charge fewer Avios than what BA is asking.
Note that if you have both a BAEC account and a QRPC account, you should be able to transfer Avios freely from one account to the other.
