I suspect those who do so are BA employees. But I am always willing to be proven wrong. As a consumer, I demand that I get what I pay for. If the company wants to throw more, that's up to it, but I refuse to accept less from any of them and I hold them accountable. That any consumer does not, I find incredibly bizarre. The OP did. Good for him. I hope he does not get discouraged.
