Wow, this is interesting. There have definitely been times when I wanted to just stay at the Novotel but found it expensive for what it was and with no status at that chain, just looked elsewhere. It is amazing to see the number of properties that Hyatt will have have in Bangkok now. I remember when there was just the one!!
The timing of this corresponds to a disappointing recent stay at the LM Suvarnabhumi (which is a 20 minute drive from the airport). We would give Novotel a try next time.
