This is such a lame promotion. For example in February and July the double miles you only get for the flights associated with the first 360 HON Circle Points.
Hence if you have cont round-trip in C Class connecting (CGN-MUC-MAD-MUC-CGN) for 1200 Euros you already used 160 points. so for a long haul next you would only get the double miles for the two first segments (40+200).
If you directly have a long haul you wont even get the double points for all the segments (40+200+200+40). Depending on how they allocate the revenue you might end up only getting double miles for 80% of the ticket value.
So this promo is only great if you fly on very expensive direct flights out of a hub. Then you can get the double miles for nine flights.
The lounge Vouchers and FTL Cards in the other months are also nothing to aspire for, the E vouchers I can never use, on Allegris they don’t work at all, so those are useless, too.
I might add a little Cont flight in the one or the other month so I can make the five promo months to get a SEN Card for a friend.
This promo wont make me give Lufthansa Group a single additional long haul flight though. I am already qualified until Feb 2027 so my long haul business all goes to AF in 2025.
