Hello! I just want to point out that Gold Priority Reward is incredible value.
as you know, since the ridiculous, short-sighted and disrespectful changes to BAEC, I now only fly reward flights on BA. My spending last year was actually just about at Gold, but I feel the way that BA treats its most loyal customers is abysmal so I’m doing it out of principle. Anyway… I have until April 2026 to enjoy Gold Priority Rewards and I have a lot of Avios / routes to getting them.

There was a £13,475 ticket for LHR -> SFO, one way in First in May. No reward availability… I mean why would they when they feel they can sell tickets for that much. As part of a return ticket, this would still cost £3k. I got this for just 170k Avios and about £550. I mean isn’t that such a steal?

id love to hear about tickets people got through this little-used, or at least, little-popularized benefit of being a Gold member…
