Anyone doing the secondary interview soon at Haneda, maybe add some more time if you can spare it. My first TTP was done in Narita years back before Covid and it certainly didnt take anywhere near this long. Maybe 30-40 minutes if I remember right.
I sort of remember my HND T3 secondary interview at the Landside aka "Passenger Terminal 3, 3rd floor, Departure Lobby A, next to the check-in counter" area taking about 20-30 min years ago, pre-covid. The agent did need a supervisor to help a bit but it wasn't nearly as long as yours. I did have some fingerprinting issues and am wondering if I should put on some sort of hydrating hand mask the night before.
Residents, do you think secondary at HND/NRT is better than the Tokyo Immigration Bureau if I'll already be in town not too far from Shimbashi or Shinagawa? I know government offices are often not where people go to look for efficiency. Should I just make a trip to HND or go early to NRT where they presumably at only deal with the airport entry/exit related procedures?
