I'd recommend the Standard. Excellent location, reasonably quiet, and decent rates. Spring for the biggest room you can afford as that can make a big difference.

As the OP pointed out, hotels are expensive that weekend. 50 Bowery is $494/night (including fees and taxes) for a non-cancelable reservation. The Standard is $576/night. I can understand why the OP chose to book with points. And as I said, I have found the 50 Bowery to be a fine hotel. The Standard might be nicer (I'm not sure, I've never seen the rooms, except looking up from the Highline!), but as you say it's reflected in the rates.
