Yikes, indeed. That sounds like a total trainwreck. One that had an already-burning dumpster fire aboard every car.
But TBH, it aligns with the reviews from the only two folks I know personally that have shelled out to stay there.

This foray into urban locations for Aman doesn't seem to working out 100% so far. I know people love the Tokyo places (w/ Janu) and we'll have to see how Miami pans out, but it does seem to be ticking off the base junkies.

As an aside, digitally based lighting and shades as a 'feature' really frustrates me. Almost without fail. The ones that are intuitive and actually functional are few and far between. The bigger and more complex the room(s), the worse it is.
I much prefer an old-school panel with military-grade swtiches/buttons and tight, continuous faders for dimming.
Put 'em near the beds, sofa, wherever.
To me, anything 'touchscreen' in a hotel room is simply 'improvements' no one was asking for.
