The shower wait situation is atrocious. If there’s one thing I personally want in a transit airport lounge, its to be able to shower after a long haul flight…everything else is window dressing. If the lounge isn’t able to fulfill that primary duty for me, it ceases to have much value. Hopefully you’ll be able to get one…I think they do allow line jumping if your boarding time is coming up. And fully agree, it’s a great business/status lounge (when not crowded)…but a true first lounge it is not anymore.
Agree with all of this. I suppose we have to also bear in mind that a sizeable percentage of users are taking short intra-Gulf flights and so having a shower is not going to be a priority for many of those customers. Nevertheless, I probably can’t name any other first class lounges globally where you’d have to wait that long for a shower.
