If you saw the amount to be credited online as part of the refund process then you should get that pretty quick. It's same day on the BA side, then whatever your credit card takes to process the refund back to you account. This is quick with Amex - under 24 hours - but some credit card companies take a week plus.
If you did not see the amount to be credited then assume about 2 weeks or so, more if there are other complexities such as a partly flown ticket.
