Credited first leg and didn’t for the second leg. Tried claiming the second say the name was the on the list (which is silly cause I don’t have a middle name)
This has happened to me twice now in recent months (Nov 2024 / Jan 2025). Both cases, I was flying TPE-HKG-SIN, 2hr transit in HKG, and both times, the TPE-HKG credits but the HKG-SIN does not. My SIN-HKG a few days later credit just fine.
Both times, I got rejected for "
EXACT MEMBERSHIP NAME NOT ON FLIGHT PASSENGER LIST" and then I have to call in and they do a "manual" missing miles claim that seems to credit within a week.
All tickets were bought via CX website, check in via CX, all legs on CX. It's really absurd they can't figure this out and it keeps happening. Now I try to keep an eye on all of my CX credits or else I feel like I might have left a lot of points/miles on the table if I didn't track it closely.
