Agree with others- this isn’t going to happen for 20 years. Just part of the Downing Street “Grid” for “Growth week, honestly we have a plan”. I would have thought a simultaneously useable second runway at LGW would be good for the economy and for BA (who already have a base there) too. Just need some better domestic connections and a proper security-free domestic connections route. I don’t at all subscribe to the idea that what is good for the SE isn’t good for the rest of the UK, but LGW needs sorted out with regional feeders.
