Just got back from our stay here. I've added my welcome letter detailing Diamond benefits. All diamonds get FULL breakfast as well as 10% off on the spa (was 15% off last year). One thing not indicated in the letter is that Diamonds (not sure about Golds) receive a welcome kit from Aruba Aloe with lotions and the like. As to the construction, it is definitely more noticeable than last year as the new towers under construction are taller and visible. Noise is definitely noticeable while at the pool and hotel grounds but it will be personal preference if it bothers you. We weren't bothered, but I was using an FNC and was more concentrated on having fun with the family. If someone is paying a premium to stay here, they may think differently. There was no compensation for the noise, but I didn't complain about it either. As to the unlimited mimosa question, I was told that it was removed after a new manager arrived on the property a while back. It seems that they had issues with locals paying the resonable breakfast buffet price to basically have unlimited drinks. The server I spoke with said the unlimited mimosas have come and gone depending on who the manager is. We stayed at the Bonaire Tower which has not been remodeled. The rooms and AC are definitely showing their age and desperately need refreshing.
