Go arounds are uncommon (esp for infrequent flyer pax) but perfectly normal overall and happen for numerous reasons. But the ultimate reason is safety. Every single day there are hundreds if not thousands of commercial and private go-grounds around the world.

I've had a few with CX, as I suspect have others on here. I've also had a high speed aborted takeoff on CX some years ago, who I believe is a lot less common (we ended up delayed hours is my recollection, I can't recall if we changed planes or not. But the delay was expensive). But you fly enough these safety things will happen. Rest assured it's safe!
