No, nothing from United if traveling alone. Only when traveling with the primary cardholder.

On the award items, just book from the primary account (Mileage pooling allows free access to the authorized users miles by the primary).

They get to use the card and may get some of the card benefits like travel insurance, ... when traveling without the primary and the primary gets the miles / points.
