It was for me booking into business fare code I, which is the cheaper business fares and that was most recently on round trips between SGN and ICN/PUS. I always put my Flying Blue Platinum (SkyTeam Elite Plus) number into the bookings.

My last flight PUS-SGN had an aircraft swap from a B787-10 to a A350-900 and my selected seat (B78X 3A) changed to A359 7D and at the check-in desk the agent moved to 3A and was told the cabin was very empty (and it was for the flight) so I've no idea why the VN system moved me so far back rather than keeping it unchanged.
