We live 20 minutes north of the M66 and I’ve just been quoted £160 return for a taxi which seems a bit rich. I suppose I’ll just keep plugging away at the parking booking sites to see what I can get together. Or throw myself at the mercy of the train(s). Or see about a bus.
For a short notice trip I've parked in the City Centre before, and got the train to/from the Airport, because it was cheaper than paying the Airport parking rate!
