Staying at Doubletree Suites in Huntsville, AL and experienced an issue when attempting to spend my Honors food and beverage credit. Didn’t have time for breakfast in the restaurant so stopped by the lobby store to grab a drink and snack on my way out. The front desk told me that their policy was recently updated and the daily credit could no longer be used for these items and could only be spent at the restaurant or bar.

Never encountered this limitation at a property before and wondering if this is a common experience? Would be a significant devaluation of the daily credit benefit for me.
