Breakfast at the Club Intercontinental Lounge is offered daily from 6.30 - 10.30 H mornings.
At present, this is the only place in the hotel that serves à volonté buffet breakfast.
Please be aware:
- Hot items from the buffet rotate on a daily base, so every morning you'll find something different, i have posted rotation #1 & #2
- this lounge does not offer cook to order egg dishes
- covers all your basic and American breakfast favorites
- does offer to go cups for your hot beverage needs
- most important: an oasis of calm of païs & vrêe
- every table for 2 is next to a US power outlet for your work needs
- It has to be mentioned, as i consider it an asset to the brand and a display of true Club Intercontinental hospitality. Upon my wrecking the coffeemachine for a double espresso + mocha on top. The helpful lounge host, Mr. Ace, tried to assist in repairing the machine. However, fearing my faintness of caffeine withdrawal sympthoms, he went above and beyond to acquire my hot beverage order from the hotel's downstairs coffeshop https://www.rosebellycoffee.com Will admit, this the best Royal Ambassador recognition i encountered so far at this hotel!

Verdict: for sheer ease the Club Intercontinental Lounge serves breakfast that can satisfy your needs.
The 4 hot items that change daily do provide some variety for flavours.
Yet, if one desires,
fresh to order eggs dishes, advocado toast or hot oatmeal, can only be acquired at breakfast downstairs at restaurant Cavalier.
My doctor has warned me again, " Mr. Hades are you sticking to our diet? ....
" Must resist temptation of urge of forbidden second and triple breakfasts !
There goes my reputation on FT:IHG as the emperor of second and triple breakfasts......
It's interesting that digital nomads needing work done , have not yet discovered the comfort of the Club Intercontinental lounge.
I was able to call my mistresses in privacy without the chance of prying eyes and ears of my ex-wives.
So if you want a quiet breakfast ambiance and like to help yourself, this is the place to go, worthy of the Club Intercontinental Lounge USP.
