I booked a stay at the Kimpton Vividora yesterday through Amex THC. I don't see it showing up in my IHG account and when I contacted IHG they told me that the rate was through expedia and thus it is non-qualifying (which according to them also means I get no status recognition). They said I would be able to view the reservation in the IHG app, but not add it to my account.

They're saying also that even if I went through Virtuoso I would still be non-qualifying (for points) and also would not get status recognition... Am I missing something?
