Managed to book a bunch of nights next year before the big price increase. Checked the 50% off cyber sale and it was still double what I already have booked; definitely would not be worth 4x the price I locked in. I wouldn't gamble anywhere near the strip since ~2007, so that doesn't factor in for me.

An extra 5x on a $40 dollar room is basically the same as riding the peloton on arrival and the next morning ANYWHERE ELSE....

P.S. the gym at the Rio has had its equipment changed out since the UK based weight lifter made a video. Unpleasantly busy during my visits. No Peloton....
