Hi, slightly (but not too) complicated question.
I want to treat my mother to fly business class from IST to LAX. February flight so there are plenty of award tickets for 135,000 TK miles.
I also saw that it's possible to buy an economy class ticket for cheap (from 3rd party agency, not directly from Turkish Air), and then upgrade to business for only 65,000 miles.
Has anyone got any experience upgrading another person's ticket using miles like this? Any insight/experience welcome!
