Hertz Gold status not sticking on bookings via SAS

Hallå. I am posting this question here because it applies to the SAS booking portal and not Hertz.

I regularly reserve rental cars in UK and ZA through the SAS website, because the level and bonus points are quite rewarding.

There is a space on the last page of the booking form (next to Eurobonus number) to add a Hertz Gold number, but this never seems to stick and is always missing when I get to the rental counter. This might seem like a trivial inconvenience, but it basically means the car is never ready in the Gold Bay to drive away, and always adds 15 to 20 minutes to my rentals. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to get the Hertz gold number to stick at the same time as the Euro bonus number? SAS invite users to enter both, so it shouldn’t be the case that one blocks the other.
