I’ve stayed at 50 Bowery several times and have quite liked it. I like that it’s on the edge of Chinatown without being in the thick of Chinatown. It’s also an easy walk to the subway, and there are Citibike stations reasonably close. If you’re driving, I’ve managed to find free on street parking within about a 10 minute walk. (If you’re interested, I can tell you what areas worked for me for parking. Obviously not Chinatown, but not too far away.)

I don’t know if you specified that you want a Manhattan Bridge view, but you might find it worth the up charge. Or perhaps if you have Hyatt status they’ll throw it in for free.
