I will try to remember to ask on DCA tomorrow evening about lounge access.

I'm considering doing something similar as being based in PHL AA has the most flights to where I'm going, and getting to see family is most efficient with BA. As much as I would love to never travel with BA again for treating me like an idiot I don't really want to connect in Turkey or Germany for the sake of status.
