Heading down to Etereo with my wife for a getaway sans kids. The last review here is a little concerning, but our reservation is non-refundable, the kids will be home, and the weather looks good so I expect we’ll have a good time!

id be grateful for any suggestions on activities to try/avoid. We were considering doing the snorkeling activity and I was wondering if anyone has tried that or if you have recommendations for another vendor? Also, has anyone done the cooking classes (consul or ceviche) or the liquor tasting? I’ve stayed at Amans and have enjoyed the activities they offer but don’t have a sense of what to expect from Auberge generally or this property in particular.

Finally, in light of deaddog’s review, I’d love folks’ thoughts on the dining situation. Are there any restaurants/dishes worth trying? and It seems like there is a St Regis and an Edition adjacent to this hotel—should we consider making dinning reservations at those properties?

thanks in advance for any advice/thoughts!
