I’m having an odd issue with the 100k LP reward for the 30% LP bonus on things like AAdvantage Hotels. I reached 100k LPs in late December, which should have activated the 30% bonus timer, superseding the 20% bonus timer from when I reached 60k LPs. However, for an AAdvantage Hotels stay last week I only received a 20% LP bonus on top of the base miles, so seemingly the 30% bonus failed to trigger. As far as I know I should not need to take any action to get the bonus to trigger (the 20% bonus timer at 60k LPs triggered automatically). I’ve emailed customer service about this, but while I wait for a response I am curious whether anyone has had a similar issue.
