Thank you. Our friends who were scheduled Jan 27 on BA57 LHR-JNB in business which was cancelled are only being offered to be accommodated on economy on Lufthansa via Frankfurt which seems crazy to me. They were told the de-icing equipment was not working.
That would definitely be a BA problem at LHR as they operate their own rigs.
As for not working, find that very hard to believe, as they have around 30 rigs on station.
